No breakfast option and no gym (but knew this). Location not close to anything we came to visit but not far from anything either

Very good for family. We are a group of 4 adults + 1 baby so the space was perfect. It was good because our baby just started walking so there were spaces for her to walk while we cook her breakfast and dinner. Also space in the living room to lay our luggage out so we can deal with packing after we put her to sleep. There’s also laundry in the unit which helps when her clothes get stained. The staff also seems very helpful. They do offer to help book restaurants but we already made our own plans.

It’s a bit further from the market area where a lot of restaurant are located.

It's great to have a washing machine in the apartment , it's a spacious apartment for a family of 4 and 2 bathrooms which are very rare for apartment stay in Japan. Best of all, unlimited drinks and sake and board games available. Perfect for young family.

A bit off from the main tourist area in a very safe neighbourhood but great for people who uses the public transport, the area has all the necessary things in the surrounding area. It's a personal preference only, it's a wonderful accomodation otherwise.

I like it that it was able to accommodate a family of 4 .

I did not like the combination washer/dryer at all. Took hours and clothes were still wet. It’s better to have a laundry room with separate washing machines and dryers like the Mimaru in Askua in Toyko.

Staff was extremely friendly. Offered free beer and sake. Self parking is available nearby and reasonably inexpensive.

Housekeeping was pretty much nonexistent.  Housekeeping would not make the bed because of personal items (child’s toy.) The kitchen silverware and cooking supplies were of poor quality. Minimal amount of natural light enters the apartment. Hotel does not provide any breakfast amenities so be be prepared to  elsewhere or prepare your own .

The location of Mimaru Suite Kyoto Central was excellent! The staff was extremely friendly and our accommodations were perfect. We are a family of 5 and had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Having a washer and dryer in our suite was wonderful and we would absolutely return to this property.

Everything was great! We liked it all!

Spacious and beautiful room decorated in traditional Japanese style. Washing machine and fully furnished kitchen can make even a long term stay comfortable and convenient for the full family. Great experience overall. Thank you.

There was no such thing at all.

The location was great. Short walk to the subway. On a nice quiet street off the main artery. The room was very spacious and was a great set up for our family of 4. We were not sitting on top of each other. Nice touch with the coffee and drinks in the lobby. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

We liked everything. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

There wasn't breakfast that I know of - maybe I missed it.

The A/C made the room feel moist. I felt like everything was damp all the time.

Convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, plenty of space for our family, free beverages (water, beer and sake in the lobby). Washer/dryer and mini kitchen were also great. Would definitely stay here again!

We liked everything-perfect for our needs. We had a one year old with us. Great walking everywhere.

The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. Our suite was very large, beautifully appointed, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also very convenient, close to everything we wanted to explore. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Great staff and rooms were awesome! Free beer to try in reception and the staff did everything to help us out - top experience!

Some noise heard from the occupants upstairs and when the cleaners visits, make sure there is nothing on the beds or they won’t make them up.

Amazing staff. Very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place for Kyoto visitors. There are some gems in the neighborhood and we would definitely consider staying here again. Perfect for a family with kids too!

No complaints about this hotel. I am sure there could are some more ideal locations in Kyoto that wouldn't require driving as far to see some of the tourist sites, but there's no shortage of things nearby and in terms of value, it couldn't be beat.

Location a bit far from Main Street

Location is great and the size of our room match our need - family of four. The staff is amazing and very kind, you can get Sake and Beer in the reception, overall great place to stay and very close to subway and all the center locations.
